Problem is no one wants to pay money to go to a real war with bullets and bombs are flying. Most that watch football do it because they were never ever good at it and its the only way they can feel they were/are good at it. If it wasn't for the spectators these footballers would actually have to get a real job.

The words awesome and hero have been so misused by media and joe public referring to sports etc they no longer have any meaning.
