How in hell did that happen?

The chances of the axle coming out in one section would be extremely high.

I bet somebody has put the axle under the spring and used old U bolts and have done the job on the cheap.

Or he may have only put the center bolts in, and not the other, I have seen that before, as you can see the U bolts were nowhere to be seen in the carnage.
