EXPEDITION TRUCKS

I suggest that an Adventure Truck category be added to the website. Ordinary motorhomes do not have the clearance or the strength to handle the rigours of off road travel in the outback but there is much to see. There seems to be more adventure trucks around these days.

I have an adventure truck. My 2008 Ford Transit motorhome has crossed plenty of country where there were no roads, just the hint of a track out behind the dingo fence. Its been through dry riverbeds and foot-deep bulldust, and somehow still comes out the other side in one piece.

Many of us on the road are living with challenges or disabilities that would make most people pull the covers over their heads. Yet we keep going dealing with heat, dust, breakdowns, and all the curveballs the bush throws at us.
For a lot of us, every day out here is an adventure in its own right.
