The congregation in the church were all seated and listening to the local priest delivering his sermon when all of a sudden he clutched at his chest and collapsed.

Concerned members of the congregation rushed towards him and fearing he had suffered a heart attack, the ambulance was called.

The priest was loaded into the ambulance and rushed to the local hospital. When the ambulance arrived at the local hospital they found that there were other ambulances already lined up and so the driver thought of a plan.

The priest was loaded onto a trolley and off they raced towards the A and E. Half way through the trip the priest regained consciousness and sat up blinking and looking around. He exclaimed "Am I in heaven?" "I must be in heaven"!

With that the ambulance attendant looked down and said " No father, it was crowded out the front so we just took a short cut through the children's ward".
