Where does the time go?
(Preview)
I often think I will spend 1/2 hour before bed checking out the caravan forums on this and other sites and before I know it several hours have passed. Do other people have this problem or do I need to be more diciplined - comments and opinions appreciated, thanks

Roadside Camping on the Big One...
(Preview)
Hello all... I'm new to this forum stuff but not to the grey nomadding side of life. However, in a couple of weeks (June 2010) we head out from near Sydney on the big Round-Oz adventure (again) - this time my brother-in-law and his wife are following (and trying to keep up with) us. We have always stayed in...

Where do you get your water from
(Preview)
Here goes with another dumb question. When free camping, where do you get your water from to fill you tanks? I realise if you are staying in a caravan park, you can top up before you leave, but can't imagine servos will allow you to fill your tanks as you fill up with fuel??? Not far from where I live, ther...

We all seem to be heading off. Some going North, some South, some East and West. We leave on Thursday and head to Arkaroola to take over toilet cleaning from Gary and Kerry. ROAD TO DARWIN
(Preview)
I know I'm being lazy, but word of mouth is way better than something written in a book. My question: Free camps between Lithgow - Broken Hill - Port Augusta - Woomera and then on to Darwin. Ones to avoid and ones to definitely stop at. Any suggestions greatfully received.
