can anyone tell me the time difference melbourne-byron bay 1: hume/pacific VS newell hwy. and any tricky driving over the mountains using the newell highway.and using the newell can you easily cross the mountains to port macquarie.?hope someone can help.

Dust storm from NSW has just hit the Sunshine Coast; is very warm and humid here. Yet I hear at home in Mount Gambier it is 16 and raining!!!!! We are going home in about 10 days time, so will be finding it a tad chillier than here!!
