Fathers Day
(Preview)
Hope all Dads out there had a nice day; how did you spend it? Out of interest how do you all rate the day itself (and Mothers Day), shouldn't every day we be appreciated as parents without a designated day?? It appears that the retail industry certainly "flog" it, i.e. how much to spend??? W...

Fitting New Tail Lights
(Preview)
G'day all, A short while ago I had a professional caravan repairer fit two new Tail Lights to my 1986 Jayco Songbird, had a pro do the job as the old ones were well and truly corroded and I wanted to make sure all was done right. I noticed he used about 3/4 inch self drilling screws to secure the backing plate...

Why are you a member here???
(Preview)
Ok good question.... I am here simply because I like free stuff. I don't enjoy the fora where things are run by vested interests and the moderator jumps down your throat because he/she does not want you telling the truth about a product that may be deleterious on the advertisng $$ that they chase. I find...

Counting the miles or not!
(Preview)
I was just getting my daily fix of the nomads website and thought about back when i was a city dweller (many years ago) when going from one side of the city to get something on the other side was such a long way to go. How things change when you have spent time on the open road. Only 4 more weeks and we are off to t...

Basil & Davo too much.
(Preview)
It is a shame that you two guys have to prop up this site, and your efforts must be commended, and the info put forward. It maybe time to back off a little and see if it deserves to survive as unfortunately the Davo annd Basil show is a little boring. Not to be offensive, but a wake up call.

I live in Canberra. We have 4 seasons here. I've lived here since 1979.....Do I like it here?? sorry no, I'd prefer to live on the coast, near a beach (free) unfortunatley the cost has me snookered. Seriously Canberra was a great place to bring up kids, all amenities were available, plenty of "gre...
