Suspension Upgrade
(Preview)
I have a 2014 Isuzu D max that I have had since new. I have about 70,000 on the clock and recently have noticed that the rear springs have flattened out. It does not ride any differently but still gave me a bit of a surprise given that it has a tow limit of 3500 and a ball weight capacity of 350kg. I have a Windso...

Reliability power and maintenance versus small engine Euro motor homes
(Preview)
I hear so often that American imports are not suitable for Australian conditions. A joke a load of hype. The Euro imports however; from what I read; can cost you fortunes in replacement parts, and services, and stuck on the road waiting for import parts. Common sense that a 2.3 liter engine pushing 4....

Honda generator problem

About six months ago I purchased a new Honda EU20I generator which I "ran in" and has been on Honda oil and always fresh petrol. It has done about 70 hours of work at mainly around 400W. I have run it on "Eco" for about 75% of the time but usually switched to non-eco for the other 25% in order to give the engine...

Towball weights - again
(Preview)
Firstly, I am not an engineer but I am a practical thinker and I hope the following might make other people think about what I am about to say and give their opinion. Let's say your vehicle has a 300kg ball weight limit. For the sake of argument, you hook up and you are well within 'legal' limits at 250kg....
