2006 Fiat Ducato Jayco Conquest auxilliary power?
(Preview)
I pick up this van tomorrow, and this is my first motorhome. We plan to use a mixture of caravan parks and off-grid sites whilst on the road, so want a level of independence. Would I be better installing Solar on the roof, carrying portable solar panels or carrying a genset? Thanks in advance

Water system modification.
(Preview)
Today I am going to modify the caravans water system, so that I can split the hot and cold side. When finished I should be able to run van tank water only through the hot side, and have bore or rubbish water on the cold side, selectable by turning a valve (or two).

My recently purchased vehicle has 4 parking sensors at the rear, but they don't work. Would appreciate if anyone has any experience with these. Are they usually operational, or do they need to be wired up or activated? Many thanks in advance.
