Metal detecting in SA and Victoria Goldfields

Hi All New here... but would like to make a trip of 2-3 weeks to the Victorian Goldfields when things dry out. This is not for the person who wants all the modern amenities though caravan parks can be used for relief. Mostly no toilets or showers. Live in Adelaide.
