How exciting! It's a wee little Viscount Nipper, 11ft, 590kg poptop! Perfect for Lucy to tow! Dan came with me to inspect it, and it passed. The owner is getting it inspected, and gas cert done, and all should be ready for me to collect her when I get back from Cooloola on Thursday. Of course, Dan can't hel...

Picturesque drive near Sydney?

I have a vague recollection of a picturesque drive along the coastline including a newish roadway & possibly bridge in the Sydney area. Possibly only constructed in the last 10yrs or so. The views are supposed to be spectacular. If it exists I want to include it in my forthcoming trip back up the co...

New Tug- when can we tow with it
(Preview)
Can anyone tell me if we can tow with a new tug straight away, or do we need to wait - perhaps until we have some kilometers on it? I have heard that we need 3000 kms on the car before we set off. We ordered a new diesel ford territory in early July, and as delivery keeps getting delayed we can't make any definit...

Home from a cold, wet trip
(Preview)
It was decided - not by me - that a short foray with the van was due. So we headed away, a bit more than a fortnight ago. As we trundled down the freeway, I did manage to convince the driver that, in the prevailing wet, cold and windy weather, the Great Ocean Road was not a great idea. We had a few days at Port Fai...

Advice on Jayco caravan
(Preview)
We are considering a new Jayco Sterling caravan as our new van. I am a concerned that the curved shower door in the ensuite looks a little flimsy and could cause problems such as door coming off track or jamming. I would welcome comments and feedback from those more experienced than myself Thanks Ed
