Hi fellow travellers My old ACDelco at $ 110AH battery has died. Someone has suggested to go to a AGM battery at $140 extra plus I would need to upgrade my smart charger at $269. My question is it worth the extra expense.

If you own one of these & it freezes & runs continuously, chances are the NTC thermistor is faulty. You have 2 options Pay to repair or do it your self. My option is do it the easy way, Purchase a NTC thermistor 10K @ 25deg from Jaycar sealit up & hot glue to bottom of fridge inside & run wire...
