12v Rangehood
(Preview)
Has anyone got a rear exit rangehood fitted in their van that actually sucks much?. We have NCE single fan model that will not hold a 1" square piece of paper against the grill, about 5 years old and used twice. I went to a local dealer yesterday and tried ," with their most gracious consent" ( Albury Wodo...

I recently purchased 10 of these fish eye diode type lights on crap bay for less then $12 and fitted out all three dome lights in my little van with VERY pleasing results - these are easily as bright if not brighter then the originals and use such a ridiculous little amount of power that I don't care if they...

Lithium battery - make your own?
(

(Preview)
I'm toying with the idea of importing 4 x 100Ah lithium cells and a decent BMS (battery management system) and gluing them all together to make a 12V8 100Ah lithium battery: Lithium cells BMS Cost is about A$250 and A$72 landed plus, I imagine, GST so about A$350 in total plus some sort of box. I like this...

Longevity of Lithium batteries

I have noticed that all the small rechargeable lithium batteries in my house only seem to last about 3 years no matter how often I charge them. All of the 4 x 3D glasses which came with our 3D TV set which were only used very infrequently packed it in after about 3 years and no longer take a charge. The lithiu...

G'day Peoples, Just taken ownership of '16 Jayco Silverline O/B.
