For years and years I've had a 'bad' back for which I've visited chiropractors who have advised that it was something to do with vertebrae in my back crumbling away and quite common. My job required me to sit bolt upright in front of either computers or radar screens sometimes for long periods - I always...

No, this is not a mad rant. It's not a cry for help, and I'm not being melodramatic. I'm not into the Facebook, or Twitter thing. Just need to tell about it In hospital 10 of May, 2017. Out 24 of May. Cost a truck load of money. Apart from the other stuff, the paperwork told me to MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! within a few...

I have posted about this before. However, I recently caught up with my neighbor, Colleen, who helped me back in 2011. She helped me fill in the gaps. I had just moved my m/bike onto it's back leg. Within a second, the pain in my lower back almost brought me to tears. I visited three local doctors. They eith...

We each have an Oral-B 2 x AA battery toothbrush (bar code 4210201822233) It is not as good as a 240 volt one, but it's about all I have found that is reasonable. Batteries last for weeks but we are using rechargeable & have a 12 volt AA charger. When cleaning t...

My father was given 120mg syringes of Clexane in hospital. The same dose is available at the pharmacy, but is not on the PBS. However, doses of 20mg and 100mg are covered by PBS. So, instead of a single injection, he injects himself twice, and presumably the taxpayer pays more for this inconvenience. D...

Unwanted Christmas present and I didn't even get to unwrap it. I'm a bit of a boring old fart. Non smoker, non drinker, and have never touched drugs. I live in a small motor home, which manages to get me to virtually anywhere in the country to do volunteer work. I mentioned the following accident in GN back in 2011. Pulled my motorcycle onto it's back leg. Result was a...
