Tyres
(Preview)
I have to get a new set of tyres. I currently run Cooper Discoverys, but I'm disappointed. Yes they have deep treads, but once they get near the end of their life the wear very quickly. I'm 90% on tarmac and pull a 2.5 ton van with a Pathy. I would be interested to hear reader's views on the best tyres to get.

Caravan covers
(Preview)
I need to pick your collective brains. I have to cover our van as it has sprung a leak and I can't find where from & can't afford to get it fixed professionally. The 2 eBay links below are for 2 different covers. One says it's heavy duty & seems the better one (though that may be just advertising bs)...

For the 2nd time in 3 days the Bruce Highway is closed due to a major truck accident. This morning involved 2 trucks with one driver being killed. There is debris across the road I have been told. Travelled Mackay to Moranbah. Free camp at the pub #81 was fine but decided to go to Issac River rest area #84. No toilet and sign saying no camping. Was late in the day so stopped to Peak Downs Roadhouse just down the road. Very obliging and let us stay on the grass there and use the shower and toilets. Had...

Watching TV? Sat at the table. You know the problem. After a while your bum goes to sleep and you get back ache. Why not lay on the bed? If you're like me no matter how many pillows you put behind your back you can't get comfortable, and when you do get comfortable you fall asleep. I've found the answer! It's...
