Just heard from our grandaughter who is a recruit at Kapooka, she spent last night filling sandbags, they filled about 4000 bags and went back to camp. They still had to do their scheduled physical test, hard but she passed

Stopping for 1 week till flooding and roads clear. Went for a drive yesterday on the Mitchell Highway. Not out long before chickened back to the caravan. If longer 1 week dont care as dry and comfortable. Other friends are holed up in various location with flooding.

We recently won a 10nt stay @ this caravan park on travel auctions. . I would not recommend this place to anyone. This park hasnt been cleaned nor rubbish emptied in 9days weve been here.
