We would like to travel from Canberra over to the coast, in particular Kiama (want to show Pete where we used to spend Christmases when I was a child), but a couple of people have told us that the King's Highway to Batemans Bay is not real good towing a van, as is some other roads across - can anyone advise us...

in Mackay, the weather is a bit wet at the moment but we will cope as it is certainly not cold.........hubby is having a problem with his shoulder and is having a scan done later today, appears to be in his rotator cuff so will have to see if he can start work on Monday or not, does anything ever run to plan......

Just been involved in a train mishap (derailment) on the Ravenshoe-Tumolin line. I'm OK About 100 passengers No one hurt but I had to walk a good few kms back to the nearest railway station including crossing a high trestle bridge. WOW what an adventure.
