12 volt to 240 volt inverter connection
(Preview)
Hi All. I have 2 questions regarding 12 volt to 240 volt pure sine inverters. Because of the physical size of the 1000 watt inverter, my plan is to have it portable and only attach it to the batterries when needed. Our batteries are on the chassis below the 240 volt caravan supply point. My first question...

I have previously posted about a suspected water leak in my faithful old Westport after surviving torrential rain (remember that stuff) about a year or so ago. There was a spot of carpet near the bed that got wet but I couldn't find the cause. So I decided that it must be a roof to wall joint failure. So I...

How long should DIY electrical tools last? I have just had my bench circular saw and slide compound mitre saw die. The bench saw is 7 years old and has done a reasonable amount of work. The on/off switch is a solenoid that seems to have died. It appears to be shorting when turning off. The compound saw dies...

Has anyone personally had a hitch failure, towbar, ball coupling etc., lot of talk about shackles & ratings as such.
Hard to believe with set ups as they are that they could fail to this extent, talking about a set up with all parts up to standard.
