Official advice from GMW is that Greens Lake camping will be restricted to seven days due to rubbish not being removed off site by campers. The situation is currently being monitored and we will see where GMW will go with this determination.

Some great recent photos that have been uploaded on social media showing the extent of the water level. First time view of this water level for many campers as the level was always controlled for irrigation. The water is at the top of the boat ramp now!

Not a bad Summer turnout considering the lake is down to about 10% capacity. The lake is about half of the surface area it used to be and the Eastern end is now dry. What you see in the pics is the actual present lake. The second lake (Fresh Lake) has been dry since January. The lake may be a pond by next Summer...

As of midnight Wednesday 25/3/2020, Greens Lake has been closed until further notice. All other camping sites in the district, including Aysons reserve, have also been closed until further notice. I believe these closures apply to all camping sites in Victoria.
