Carcoar Dam near Blayney south of Orange
(Preview)
Lovely drive between Dubbo and Orange on the Mitchell Highway, not too hilly with beautiful green vistas and not too much traffic. After 300kms I arrived here by 1pm but I did set off at 7am and had lunch at Macca's in Orange. Last time going to Geen's lake I went down the Newell via Parkes and Forbes. This...

Park fees. Why so ? when you're solo
(Preview)
I've done a quick search and couldn't find any info on this subject. Occasionally, I pull into a park and am always charged the same amount as for two people. Why is this so? Today, thinking about my recent trip, I found a caravan park receipt showing, under how many people staying overnight,...

Had a day of waiting, set off and arrived in Tamworth mid morning and let the GPS take me to the Obrien's workshop. So now that I knew where to go at 2pm I took off to the nearest Macdonald's and an hour later left to look at Camping shops, looking for the sun/privacy screen to slide into the awning. Eventual...

Wow, what a adventurous few days since leaving Adelaide. I decided to go to Mildura and have a couple of things done to Miss Daisy, and actually from where I was in Adelaide it was easier to go that way to Melbourne than travelling back through town and the hills.
